fermenting

Collection of thoughts /posts that for some reason are not being spun off from the mental centrifuge:

Inherently governmental? Canonneer 4 and the running dialog on irregulars in information warfare.

Expensive perfection is over-rated: Stephen DeAngelis on simplicity and effectiveness in solutions .

Progress involves, in part, knowing where you are now: Shloky and how our Uncle couldn’t pass an audit if our lives depended on it.

Not sure where this is going, if anywhere, but it probably isn’t going to be all sweetness and light for the target.

Inherently governmental? Think gated communities. Think global guerrillas.
Think super empowered individuals.
What exactly DOES government do better?

Now in my case, I am saying government is failing at counterpropaganda, and advocate citizen activism to address that failure, but counterpropaganda is not the only thing government does poorly or not at all.
