Dan wants to trust mass transit to get him to the Boyd conference (ha!), Shlok is reduced to shoe leather. We’re all ostensibly smart people well versed in social networking and concepts like swarming and no one has taken the time to coordinate transportation amongst the our band of virtual running buddies?! Gah!

Jesus, they can ride with me. I’ll be at Pentagon City, just get there early - very fuzzy on the road system in the area though as my last visit was 2001

That’s what I’m talking about! Rally on ZP!
Pentagon City (Yellow or Blue lines headed to either Huntington or Franc-Springfield, respectively). There is a Borders and Starbucks at the east exit and a semi-official loading-unloading lane (technically a parking lane but all the commuters have turned it into a kiss-n-ride).

Doh. I didn’t even think about trying to register because I have no way of getting out there from DC.
The human brain is forced to be able to handle multiple contradictory pieces of information - if it was forced to cross-reference everything within itself, our brains would be too slow to function.

Don’t feel bad: I just found out today they have all sorts of open spots (at the last minute). Now to find a way to control time and space …

Okay, people, me thinks we need a little better coordination with announcing events that may be of interest to us all.
Sounds like many of you are already in my neck of the woods. Maybe we can all get together Friday evening-ish.
Michael,
You will have to go nuclear if you want to generate the 1.21 gigawatt’s of electricity needed to go back in time. Well that, and a De Lorean. :)
